What could be more fun than taking a vacation with your furry friend? Now that more hotels and attractions are taking an animal-friendly approach, it’s much easier to take trips with pets.

If you need some ideas for where to go, read this article. We’ve listed some of the best places to travel with pets.

      Kalispell, MT

Best Western Plus Kalispell/Glacier Park West Hotel & Suites

This pet-friendly hotel allows up to two dogs per room and doesn’t charge any extra fees for pets. Cats are also allowed on a pre-approved basis.

      Swan Trail River

This beautiful trail offers incredible sights no matter what time of the year you visit. It’s only 2.5 miles long, making it doable for practically any fitness level. Just remember to keep your pooch on the leash at all times while walking the trail.

      Dee-O-Gee

Whether you want to treat your dog to a tasty snack, purchase a new pet care item, or book a grooming appointment, Dee-O-Gee has got you covered. Your dog will especially love this store’s delicious goodies.

      Fort Lauderdale, Florida

      Best Western Fort Lauderdale

Want to bring your dog and cat on your next vacation? That’s no problem at this pet-friendly hotel, which welcomes both types of animals and will make sure you have a room on the bottom floor.

And if you ever need to go somewhere that isn’t animal friendly, the hotel allows you to leave your pets in the room while you are gone.

      Canine Beach

Don’t even think about going to Florida without heading to the beach. Take your canine companion to this dog beach on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, and get ready to enjoy the sand and sea. Be sure to bring along $7 to purchase the required one-weekend permit.

      Snyder Park

If your pooch can’t get enough of Florida’s water, treat your pup to a dip in the dog-friendly lake at Snyder Park. You will need to obtain membership before visiting this park but it will definitely be worth it when you see how much fun your dog has swimming and socializing with other pets.

      Winchester, Virginia

      Tru by Hilton Winchester

If you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, this hotel is a perfect choice. It’s pet friendly and provides access to a heated indoor pool, fitness center, and business center. These accommodations will make you and your pet feel very comfy during your stay.

      Mount Pleasant in Virginia

Enjoy the great outdoors with your pet by taking a trip to Mount Pleasant. Its magnificent views are amazing and your dog will relish the opportunity to take an adventure with you.

According to Hiking Upward, you can complete the hike in 4 hours, counting a half hour lunch break.

      Family Drive-In Theater

If your dog enjoys a good movie night, going out to see a film at the drive-in theater is a great idea. You can pick up a treat for your pooch at the ticket booth, and if you happen to be there around Halloween your pet can join the costume contest.

      Scottsdale, Arizona

      Hyatt Regency Scottsdale

When the cares of life are overwhelming, take refuge at the Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale, Arizona. This 27-acre resort provides water playgrounds, first-class golf courses, and a relaxing spa.

Best of all, your pet can come with you. You will need special permission if your furball exceeds 50 Ibs.

      Scottsdale Fashion Square

If you have a little dog that weighs twelve pounds or less, take a trip to the Scottsdale Fashion Square. This mall has over 200 shops, which should keep you pretty busy.

Most pets aren’t allowed to walk the mall, so you will either need to carry your dog or push your pup in a stroller. You don’t have to follow this rule if your canine is a service dog.

      Vista del Camino Dog Park

Let your dog enjoy some off-leash fun at the Vista del Camino Dog Park. While your pooch is running around and socializing with other dogs, you can just sit down and relax on a bench. Sounds like a win for all!

The hotel’s pet menu includes animal-safe treats that your furry friend will love. Dog walking/sitting services are also available, and the staff is always ready to suggest some great hiking trails that you can visit with your dog.

Your canine will even receive a Puppy Jet Lag Kit. This kit will help your pet adjust to the area’s altitude.

      Shaboomee Paddleboard

Paddle boarding is a great vacation activity, and at Shaboomee your pet can join the fun. Whether you choose a guided tour or strike it out on your own, you and your pet will have a blast!
